I’m a writer, role-player, dancer and artist. I wanted to make a blog to think out loud about my experiences in art, dancing, writing, and martial arts.
Artistic collaboration is at the heart of what drives me, connects me to people, so whenever I’m doing anything creative, I always feel that so much more happens when I share the experience with others (or when they share something with me). Sharing is the first step, and collaboration is the ultimate experience.
I live in Iowa with my husband Tim, a border collie called Lindy, and a big tabby cat called Knox. In 2007, I graduated with a degree in English Literature and have also done some additional coursework in Education. I have been a Lindy Hopper since 2001, and have a black belt in Hapkido.
I work full time as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer and am always looking for exciting opportunities in the creative industries.
